Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Randomly Brandy collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Randomly Brandy is operated by Randomly Brandy. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us about privacy at support@randomlybrandy.com.
2. Information you give us
- Account details — your name and email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Order & shipping details — the items you buy, your shipping address, and order history.
- Custom-order content — any names, text, photos, or artwork you send us to personalize an item.
- Communications — messages you send us, such as support questions or a return/exchange request and its reason.
3. Information collected automatically
- Essential cookies— a sign-in session cookie that keeps you logged in. Without it, accounts and checkout can’t work.
- Your preferences— for example your light/dark theme choice and the contents of your cart, stored in your browser’s local storage on your device.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure and working and to prevent abuse.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers to build a profile of you across other websites.
4. How we use your information
- to make, package, and ship your orders and provide support;
- to manage your account and send order-related emails;
- to process payments and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to improve our products and the site; and
- to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
5. Service providers we share data with
We share only what each provider needs to run the shop, and we do not sell your personal information. Our key providers are:
- Stripe — processes payments. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits), not your full card number.
- Google Firebase / Firestore — stores account, order, and site data and supports sign-in.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the website.
- Resend — sends transactional emails such as order confirmations and shipping updates.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
6. Cookies & local storage
We use only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function — keeping you signed in, remembering your theme, and holding your cart. You can clear these through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or empty your cart.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the shop, resolve disputes, and meet legal and tax requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. Custom-order files are kept only as long as needed to make your item and handle any follow-up.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and payment handling by Stripe. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly if a problem arises.
9. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most details in your account settings, or contact us at support@randomlybrandy.com and we will respond as required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Children’s privacy
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age where you live). If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
We operate from the State of New Jersey, United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own. By using the site, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in those locations.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, may provide a more prominent notice.
13. Contact us
